Tata Safari was the only 4X4 from the brand and sadly it was discontinued due to the BS6 norms. The Tata Hexa was categorized luxury with both comfort and style. However, it didn’t do well in the market and the automaker discontinued the Hexa but is all set to be relaunched with the BS6 complaint engine but now will have the Safari’s DNA.

The New Hexa is based on the Hexa Safari concept that was showcased in the 2020 Auto Expo. The new Tata Hexa will have pilot seats in the second row and a bigger infotainment system by Harman.


Tata Hexa engine
The New Hexa will have Tata’s Varicor 400 engine that is a 2.2-liter 4-cylinder engine and now is BS6 compliant makes 155bhp and 400Nm but the base variant will have a 149bhp and 320Nm. In addition, there are three options on the powertrain the base variant will have a 5-speed manual. The other variants can be opted with a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic which will return a combined mileage of 17kmpl.

The Hexa will have 5-colors in total Tungsten silver, urban bronze, Arizona blue, Sky grey and pear white.


Tata hexa interior
The new Tata Hexa comes with an all black interior and the Safari edition will also have the same interior as that of the other variants but for a change it has a safari edition badge inside. It will have a new 7-inch touch screen by Harman and climate control AC with AC vents for all three rows.


4X4 tata hexa
The Hexa safari edition will have a 4X4 system that is electronically controlled AWD system developed by Borg Warner. The system also has a torque vectoring feature called torque on demand can be used in certain off-road conditions. As a result off-roading is more fun in the Tata Hexa.

Tata Hexa price
The new Tata Hexa price in India is expected to be between 13.7 Lakh to 19.27 Lakh. It is expected to be launched any time soon and the official prices will be announced after the launch.
