Maruti Suzuki is the Favorite car maker of India. Maruti is the only brand that knows in and out of the Indian market. The latest technology exchange between Maruti Suzuki and Toyota made Maruti’s petrol engine more efficient by adding Toyotas mild hybrid system and they discontinued diesel engines. Toyota got the design right for Maruti’s new Baleno and Vitara Brezza which Toyota sells as Glanza and Urban cruiser.

Maruti’s Alto 800 is the best selling car from the Manufacturer. The 47bhp 800cc engine is mated with a manual transmission. Even though the car struggles for pickup and is scary on the highway this is the best seller due to its low starting price of ₹2.99L. It is known as the most unsafe car and has zero safety rating. This is offered in 8 variants with two CNG variants. The price ranges from ₹2.99L to ₹4.41L.

The Maruti Suzuki S-Presso is the replacement for the Alto K-10. The Mini SUV looking S-Presso has a 1.0L engine that makes 67bhp and 90Nm torque. It is mated with a 5-speed transmission which also has an automatic option. There are 14 variants offered with both petrol and CNG options with prices ranging from ₹3.7L and ₹5.13L.

The Maruti Suzuki Eeco is the Minivan from Maruti made for commercial purposes. Under the hood, it gets a 1.2L engine that cranks out 72bhp mated with a 5-speed manual transmission. It is offered in 5 and 7 seated versions with petrol and CNG as the fuel options. New Eeco gets ABS, EBD and driver side airbag as standard yet has a zero star for safety. The prices range from ₹3.90L to ₹5.05L.

In a daring move, Maruti Suzuki just discontinued the diesel option in the 2020 Vitara Brezza and replaced it with a 1.5L petrol engine that makes 103bhp and 138Nm torque. The engine is mated with a 5-speed manual transmission and has an option of a 4-speed automatic. The prices range from ₹7.34L to ₹11.40L and have a 4-star safety rating.

The compact SUV seats 7 and comes with a 1.5L engine that makes 103bhp and is mated with a 5-speed manual transmission or an optional 4 speed automatic. It is offered in petrol and CNG options but the petrol variant also comes with a mild hybrid. The prices range from ₹7.59L to ₹10.13L. Safety features like ABS, EBD and dual airbags are standard but the car has a 3-start 
safety rating.

The hatchback has a 1.2L petrol engine that makes 81bhp that drives the front wheel either through a 5-speed manual transmission or a 5-speed AMT. The car comes with standard safety features like a dual airbag, ABS and EBD but the NCAP safety rating is 2-star. The prices range from ₹5.19L to ₹8.02L.

The prices range from ₹5.89L to ₹8.80L and the car had a safety rating of 2-star.

The prices range from ₹4.50L to ₹5.99L.

A 1.2L petrol engine under the hood makes 81bhp that is mated with a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT.  The 3-star safety rating, good ground clearance and a premium interior say that Ignis is a balance between premium feel and safety. The prices range from ₹4.89L to ₹7.27L.

Baleno is the premium hatchback from Maruti Suzuki. The 1.2L engine makes 88bhp and has a mild hybrid technology that returns great fuel economy. It drives the front wheel through a 5-speed manual transmission or an automatic CVT.  The Baleno is also made of the same platform as swift and gets a 3-star safety rating. It has a premium piano black interior as it is born in the nexa series. The prices range from ₹5.70L to ₹9.03L.
