The Ford F-150 series is one of America’s best selling cars, and for good reason. The Ford F-150 is one of the most bang-for-the-buck, do-it-all trucks you can find on the market. The 2021 Ford F-150 models being the 14th generation of the line-up only solidifies that statement. The 2021 Ford F-150 line-up currently has 6 cars which is 1 less than the previous years as the 2021 Ford F-150 Raptor is yet to be announced.

Ford F-150 XL

The Ford F-150 XL is the entry level, barebones truck on the F-150 line-up. It has no standard packages seeing how it’s the most cost-conscious vehicle in the F-150 line-up but does have quite a few optional packages. It comes standard with a 3.3L Ti-VCT V6 engine with an electronic 10-speed automatic transmission. The Ford F-150 starts at $28,940.

Ford F-150 XLT

The Ford F-150 XLT is similar to the F-150 XL in most ways, but the XLT comes with a few additional creature comforts like BLIS (Blind-Sport Information System) with Cross-Traffic Alert and Trailer Tow Coverage and more standard package options than the Ford F-150 XL. It comes standard with the same 3.3L Ti-VCT V6 Engine and electronic 10-speed automatic transmission and starts at $35,050.

The Ford F-150 Lariat is where the cost-cutting stops and where the cars becomes more than just a workhorse. The heated all-leather seats, park assist, 360° back-up camera and even more packages to add-on really gives The Ford F-150 Lariat a luxurious feel to an otherwise rugged and work-oriented truck. It comes standard with a 2.7L EcoBoost V6 Engine and an Electronic 10-speed automatic transmission and starts at $56,330.

The Ford F-150 King Ranch is just a F-150 Lariat that got heavily inspired by the color scheme of the Wild Wild West. The country influence can be spotted all over the interiors sporting a dual tone brown and black look, but with all the modern features of the F-150 Lariat safely tucked in. The Ford F-150 King Ranch comes mated with a 5.0L Ti-VCT V8 engine and electronic 10-speed automatic transmission and starts at $56,330.

Ford F-150 Platinum

The Ford F-150 Platinum is the exact opposite of the F-150 King Ranch, swapping out the dual tone interiors for a more refined and classy paint job giving it a more executive look while still having all the advantages of the King Ranch. It comes with the same 5.0L Ti-VCT V8 Engine, Electronic 10-Speed Automatic Transmission as the Ford F-150 King Ranch and starts at $59,110.

Ford F-150 Limited

The Ford F-150 Limited is the cream of the crop, the top of the food chain, the best parts of all the models of the Ford F-150 mashed together to create the perfect combination of rugged and luxurious. The Ford F-150 Limited comes with a 3.5L EcoBoost® V6 engine and an electronic 10-speed automatic transmission and starts at $70,825.

All the models of the F-150 come in 3 variants
i) Regular Cab
ii) SuperCab
iii) SuperCrew
with the difference being the dimensions. The Regular Cab can fit 3 people whereas the SuperCab and SuperCrew can legally fit 6 people. The SuperCrew however is much more roomy and comfortable for all 6 people.
