The Force Motors’s Gurkha is about to launch with a BS6 update. The Force Gurkha is a very capable off-roader that stands in front of the Mahindra Thar. The powertrain is untouched but the 2.2-liter and the 2.6-liter engine was updated to comply with the stricter BS6 norms.

Tata Gravitas

Tata Gravitas
Tata motor’s Harrier was a great success and Tata motors is eager to launch the Gravitas. Well, the Gravitas is the 7-seater variant of the Harrier. The Gravitas is powered by a 2.0-liter turbo diesel engine and it was showcased at the Geneva motor show with the same design and interior layout as that of the harrier.

Mahindra eKUV100

Mahindra eKUV100
Mahindra has done a lot of progress in the field of electric vehicles. The KUV100 is a compact SUV that will now be launched in an electric version. The eKUV100 was showcased in the 2018 Auto Expo and it is powered by a 30Kw li-ion battery pack that will last for about 140km.

Expected price: ₹ 8 – 9 Lakhs

Jeep Renegade

Jeep Renegade
As the compact SUV segment is booming in India all the manufacturers want to depute this segment. Jeep is about to launch its  global model the Renegade in India. It will have a 1.5-liter engine that makes 118bhp and will be priced competitively rivaling Renault Duster, EcoSport, Creta and Maruti Suzuki s-cross.

Expected price: ₹ 9 – 12 Lakhs

Renault Kiger

Renault Kiger
Kiger is the upcoming sub 4-meter compact SUV from Renault. The media publication made by Renault had a futuristic design for the Kiger but Renault claims to retain 80% of the design that was showcased and Kiger is expected to have a 1.0-liter turbo petrol engine and also a 1.0-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine.

Maruti Suzuki Jimny
The largest car manufacturer in India, Maruti Suzuki showcased its new compact SUV the Jimny in the 2020 auto expo. The car looks like the gypsy and is a popular product in the international market. It will have a 1.5-liter petrol engine that will power all four wheel and produce 100bhp.

Expected price: ₹ 7 – 11 Lakhs

Jaguar E-Pace

Jaguar E-pace
The Jaguar E-pace is a  luxury compact SUV and is based on Land rover discovery. It is a plug-in hybrid model that will get a 2.0-liter petrol engine that makes 296bhp and also a 2.0-liter diesel engine that produces 148bhp.

Citroen C5 Aircross

Citroen C5-Aircross
C5 Aircross is the upcoming SUV from the brand in India. It is a crossover SUV that will be available with a wide range of petrol and diesel engine options. It will have a 1.2-liter petrol engine producing 128bhp and a 1.5-liter diesel engine producing 128bhp. The engine is a bit underpowered for the expected price but we have to wait for the official price.

Mahindra eXUV300

Mahindra eXUV300
Mahindra electric unveiled the eXUV300 in 2020 Auto Expo. It uses a battery pack that is made by Mahindra electric in association with LG Chem. The lithium-ion battery pack will have a range of 300km on a single charge.

Expected price: ₹ 14 – 16 Lakhs
